Coming from a Military (25 years) and Christian background, I love to work with individuals, families, and couples as they build and grow in their relationships. Although I love younger children, I have focused on adolescents and adults.
I am very interactive and like to work in a relaxed and comfortable setting. I find humor and laughter, even in difficult situations, allows for openness and movement in relational matters.
My Training at Virginia Tech equipped me for working with couples and family to know their strengths and struggles. My Navy experiences exposed me not only the unique Military experience but to grief, separation, and career transitions. My faith helps me to understand more of the spiritual journeys of life. Being more senior in years, allows me to draw from my experiences in life’s journey and identify often with your struggles
